The legal system isn’t complicated. It’s just hidden. And the other side is counting on that.
That’s not a fair fight. But it doesn’t have to stay that way.
They win because they know how the game is played.
Procedure. Evidence rules. Jurisdiction. What to file, when to object, how to make the other side prove their own claims — and how often the other side can’t, or won’t, when properly challenged.
That’s the whole ‘secret’. Just knowing the rules of the game — which are completely learnable, completely available, and what the other side counts on you never finding out.
Without this course, those rules seem to be there to make your life difficult, another invisible hoop to jump through. Those rules were created to protect you and give you a fighting chance. With this course you learn how to turn the tables and use the rules to your advantage as intended.
Well educated self-representing opponents repel lawyers. If you have the appearance of a procedural & documentation nuance from the get-go, it is common for cases to be dropped, simply because they are not profitable.
Asking for discovery, question their ability to even bring a case… takes time to respond and they must, or you win by default. Those are billable hours someone has to pay. The case against you isn’t the quick slam dunk they promised their client. Now the cost of (their) expensive lawyer is to your advantage.
Here’s what that looks like in the real world:
A debt collector sues someone for $4,000. They count on the defendant not responding, not showing up, or not knowing how to question their standing to even bring the case. They win by default more often than they win on the merits. When someone shows up knowing how to challenge jurisdiction and demand proof of claim — the case frequently disappears. They could even be right.
A traffic ticket gets issued. The prosecutor expects the driver to either pay or show up confused with a poor excuse. When someone correctly asks for all the evidence, proof of proper training, certificates showing any tools used are accurate — it’s a time-suck nightmare for the police station and officer. All you need to show is one piece is missing, out of date, out of compliance and the case has no standing.
These aren’t tricks and loopholes. They’re the rules — applied correctly, by someone who took the time to learn them.
TJ learned them. Used them personally. And built YouAreLaw.org to teach them to you.
If you’ve spent any time researching how to defend yourself legally, you’ve encountered it — the ALL CAPS name theories, the UCC redemption arguments, the “I don’t consent to jurisdiction” declarations. There is a better way.
How to win inside the system. Using the system’s own rules. Against people who assume you don’t know them.
No magic words. No rejected theories. No arguments that died in the 1990s. Real procedure. Real evidence rules. The specific jurisdictional challenges that courts must respond to.
You stop being dependent on lawyers for everything.
Most pro se litigants don’t lose because their position is wrong. They lose because they didn’t know some basic rules; file the right response in time, didn’t know they could object, didn’t understand that silence can be treated as agreement. When you know the procedure, you stop handing the other side free wins.
One case, one ticket, one IRS letter — whatever brought you here — that’s the immediate problem. But what you learn inside doesn’t expire when that case closes. Every legal situation you face for the rest of your life, you face as someone who understands how the system works. The threat of being sued loses most of its power.
I went to court and did as discussed on the member calls. They simply escorted me gently out of the court — case closed.
You helped me beat a speeding ticket. Judge left the courtroom without hearing the case. Didn’t want to touch it. Lack of jurisdiction.

I walked into court — no patriot methods used — gave my name and asked one question. With a little resistance from the judge and prosecutor, being very uncomfortable, dismissed a major federal case against me.

Thank you for your articles — while they have rocked my foundations, everything makes sense now where it didn’t before.

What you'll understand after this module: What's really happening in that courtroom before you walk in — and why the court's authority is not automatic.
Every court operates within specific jurisdictional limits. Those limits can be challenged. Most people never know this. This module strips away the mythology around courts and replaces it with a clear, accurate picture of how they actually derive and exercise authority — and where that authority ends.
What you'll understand after this module: The rules that govern what counts in court — and how to use them offensively and defensively.
Evidence rules are the rules of the game. The other side uses them automatically. Pro se litigants almost never do — which is why they lose cases they should win. This module teaches you the Federal Rules of Evidence in plain language, how they apply to your situation, and how to use them to keep bad evidence out and get yours in.
What you'll understand after this module: How to identify and raise jurisdictional challenges that stop cases before they start.
Jurisdiction is the most powerful and most underused tool available to a pro se litigant. If a court lacks jurisdiction over your person or the subject matter — it has no authority to rule against you. This module teaches you what jurisdictional challenges look like, when to raise them, and how to do it correctly so the other side must respond or lose.
What you'll understand after this module: The procedural weapons most pro se litigants never know they have.
Procedure is where most cases are actually won and lost — not on the merits, not on the facts, but on whether the right things were filed, challenged, or requested at the right time. This module teaches you how to use procedural defects, discovery tools, and motion practice as primary weapons rather than as defensive afterthoughts.
What you'll understand after this module: How to resolve most legal threats before a court date ever appears.
The administrative process is the most overlooked tool in self-represented legal defense. Agencies, collectors, and creditors all operate within administrative frameworks that have rules, requirements, and accountability mechanisms — most of which they count on you never invoking. This module teaches you how to use the administrative process to resolve disputes, create a paper trail, and in many cases eliminate the legal threat entirely before it becomes a court matter.
What you'll understand after this module: How the foundation you've built applies directly to the specific legal situation you're facing right now.
The first five modules give you the operating system. This module puts it to work. Each section applies the foundational principles — jurisdiction, evidence, procedure, administrative process — to a specific common situation. You'll see exactly how the tools you've learned map onto real scenarios.
What you'll understand after this module: How to research, evaluate, and confirm any legal approach before you use it — so you never have to trust a guru again.
The internet is full of legal advice. Some of it works. Much of it doesn't. A small amount of it will actively hurt your case. This module teaches you how to find primary sources, read statutes and case law, and evaluate any strategy — including anything you learned here — against what courts actually recognize today.
What you'll understand after this module: Why certain approaches fail in court, what the warning signs look like, and how to avoid wasting time on dead ends.
If you've been in this space for any length of time, you've encountered approaches that sound compelling and don't work. Some are outdated. Some were never legally sound. Some are actively harmful to your case. This module addresses the most common ones directly — not to mock anyone who tried them, but because understanding why something fails is the fastest way to understand what actually works.
The course is the foundation. These are what keep you from being alone when something new happens.

This is not for you if:
“I’m not smart enough to understand legal material” — The system wants you to believe that. It isn’t true. The reason legal material feels incomprehensible is that it’s written for other lawyers, not for people. TJ translates it. Every lesson is built around one concept, in plain language, completable in under ten minutes. Members who were certain they couldn’t understand this material consistently report that once it’s taught correctly, it clicks.
Start with Module 5 — The administrative process — and Module 6 for your specific situation. Many members arrive mid-crisis. Things get tougher if you wait too long. However. most of material is applicable at any stage. What changes when you’re further along is which tools are most immediately relevant — not whether the tools work.
